One final task – walk to Finisterre via Muxia, the end of the world. With a much lighter backpack ( left about a third of the contents at the hotel in Santiago) I was able to make great time heading to the coast.
After the filgrim woes after Sarria and Caminomania in Santiago, the walk to Finisterre has been a quiet and relaxed walk. This is a very beautiful part of the country and yet few make the journey. I am going to visit Muxia first then travel onto Finnisterre, as suggested by my friend Kym Gardner. I am so pleased I have followed his advice and do this walk.
It has been interesting talking to other pilgrims as they reflect on saying good bye to friends in Santiago and look towards finishing their journey at Finnesterre.
