Starting Points and Ending Points

The Camino has different starting and ending points for people whether geographically, spiritually or relationally.

The common thread is the shared experience of the route taken and the walking alongside others.

Today I arrived in Leon and that has meant some ending points. Albert, from Holland, flies back to Rotterdam and starts a new job. Lester and Karin, from South Africa, head out to Santiago. While Patrick will continue at his amazing pace to towards his goal of Santiago, completing well over 1000 kms.

I will be staying in Leon for two days so it is farewell to these amazing people.

But also a new starting point as Andrew arrives from Madrid tomorrow afternoon. When we hit the road again early next week other new starting points will emerge.

Just like life.
