Even though it is just under two weeks before Andrew joins me, I am having to plan my walk so I hit Leon at the right time. Added to that is the need to sign some final papers for the sale of our house, so I need to hit a major town to print them, then scan and return them to NZ.
So today was a big 30 km day! I thought my feet were in good shape having practiced in sandals for close to nine months. The Camino is hard on all feet. Discovered a big blister on one heel and the skin in my heels cracking!
Thankfully I have only 10 kms tomorrow to Logrono. Will need to be careful.
Still pleased I decided to walk in sandals. Even with a blister they are still comfortable to walk in.
